On the road to Sunyshore City, Ash and his team chance upon an injured Meowth lying on the grassland. Meowth tells his story that he was attacked by Team Galactic in the Fuego Ironworks, and Jessie and James, and Looker of the International Police (the mysterious guy they have previously met) were captured.
In an instant, Ash and his team set aside their personal indifferences to the team Rocket and head to Fuego Ironworks to rescue them.
